Axsos AG is expanding its engineering team to support growing international projects. We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our dynamic environment in Ramallah.

This is a great opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career developers to gain hands-on experience, contribute to real-world applications, and grow under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 0–2 years of experience in software development, including internships, university projects, or personal projects.

• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

• Familiarity with databases such as SQL or NoSQL.

• Basic understanding of version control systems, especially Git.

• Basic understanding of software development principles.

• Good understanding of object-oriented programming.

• Interest in using AI tools responsibly to support learning, problem-solving, and software development.

• Strong willingness to learn, improve, and receive feedback.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• German language skills are a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Next.js.

• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Experience with personal, academic, or internship projects.

• Basic knowledge of testing, Docker, or cloud technologies is a plus.

• Basic awareness of AI prompting concepts, such as writing clear prompts, providing context, reviewing AI-generated outputs, and validating code suggestions.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining software applications.

• Work with senior developers and team members on real customer projects.

• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code under guidance.

• Debug and fix basic technical issues.

• Participate in code reviews, refinement sessions, and team meetings.

• Support testing, documentation, and continuous improvement activities.

• Use AI-assisted tools responsibly where appropriate, while verifying results and following team guidelines.

• Continuously learn and improve your technical and professional skills.
