Axsos AG is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Quality Assurance Specialist to support the quality and reliability of our software products.

You will work closely with developers, product owners, and project teams to test applications, identify issues, document findings, and contribute to delivering high-quality solutions for international projects.

This is a great opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career QA specialists to gain hands-on experience in manual testing, test documentation, agile delivery, and quality assurance best practices.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 0–2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, including internships, university projects, or personal projects.

• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.

• Familiarity with manual testing, test cases, bug reporting, and defect tracking tools.

• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Interest in using AI tools responsibly to support testing, documentation, and quality improvement.

• German language skills are an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.

• Basic knowledge of programming or scripting.

• Understanding of Agile and Scrum environments.

• Experience with test case design and test documentation.

• Basic understanding of REST APIs and API testing tools such as Postman is a plus.

• Basic awareness of AI prompting concepts, such as writing clear prompts, providing context, generating test scenarios, identifying edge cases, and reviewing AI-generated outputs critically.

Your Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases and report bugs clearly and accurately.

• Work closely with developers to reproduce, analyze, and resolve issues.

• Assist in creating and maintaining test cases, test plans, and QA documentation.

• Participate in sprint planning, refinement, review, and QA-related meetings.

• Support regression testing, functional testing, and user acceptance testing preparation.

• Ensure software meets defined quality standards before release.

• Use AI-assisted tools responsibly where appropriate to support test case creation, edge-case identification, bug report improvement, and documentation.

• Continuously learn and adopt testing best practices.
