Vacancy Description:

Axsos AG is scaling its QA capabilities to ensure the delivery of reliable, secure, and high-quality software products for new long-term international projects. We are looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Quality Assurance Engineer who is passionate about testing, quality, and continuous improvement. You will work side-by-side with developers and product teams to shape the reliability of complex digital systems.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or proven equivalent skills and testing experience.

• 1–4 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Familiarity with QA tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or similar.
• Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile practices.
• Knowledge of bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• German language skills are an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience writing automated test scripts (JavaScript, Python, or Java).

• Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience testing REST APIs and web applications.
• Experience with security, performance, or mobile testing is a plus.

Your Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers and product owners to define testing strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Develop, document, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Identify, track, and manage bugs and performance issues throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Ensure test coverage, traceability, and documentation is maintained.
• Support CI/CD pipelines with test automation scripts.
• Be available to travel internationally based on business needs.
